IMPORTANT NOTICE
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”) and Protected Capture Ltd governing your use of the App and Services. By using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. Definitions and interpretation
- App: Protected Capture mobile application
- Account: Registered user account
- Capture: Verified photograph processed through the system
- Local Storage: All data stored only on your device
- Verification: Time sync, GPS verification, and cryptographic sealing
2. Eligibility and account registration
Eligibility
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have legal capacity to enter an agreement
- Provide accurate registration information
Account Registration
You are responsible for maintaining account security and accuracy.
3. Description of services
Core functionality
- Capture verified photographs
- Authenticate time via atomic time sync
- Verify GPS location with anti-spoofing
- Apply irreversible redaction
- Generate cryptographic seals (SHA-256)
- Produce evidence reports
Local storage
All data is stored exclusively on your device. You are responsible for backups and security.
Offline capability
Captures taken offline will be verified once connectivity returns.

5. Acceptable use policy

Prohibited uses
- Violating laws
- Harassment or surveillance
- Tampering with the app
- Using modified/jailbroken devices
- Submitting fake or AI-generated evidence
6. Intellectual property rights
All intellectual property belongs to Protected Capture Ltd. You retain ownership of your photos.
7. Data protection and privacy
All captures are stored locally. We do not upload or retain your images.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the service.
11. Termination
You may terminate at any time. We may suspend accounts for breaches.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. Continued use means acceptance.
13. Governing law
Governed by the laws of England and Wales.
